Blue Wrap Success!

May 22nd Update: What a successful series! Enjoy some photos below of the fabulous 2 nights at the Good Theater’s new location on Stevens Avenue…

The models take to the stage for their final bow! Each model’s outfit was inspired by a country where Partners for World Health has delivered medical supplies (supplies otherwise destined for landfills).

Here is Kristin modeling “Mongolia” — a look inspired by the traditional “deel” and featuring the symbol of two fish swimming (part of the “soyombo” as it is known and seen on the Mongolian flag). The entire outfit is constructed of medical supplies, blue wrap, plastic caps, tubing, swabs, etc

I had extra braids of blue wrap…

… so I fashioned them into a dress, of sorts!

This is Kristin’s second time modeling for Blue Wrap Project Runway

A highlight of the event for me was meeting Jennifer Rachele and learning about her band, Kouchera, who will be performing at The Good Theater August 29th—a must see!

Join me for this fundraiser extravaganza fashion show for Partners for World Health. All of the outfits are made of recycled medical supplies! I've designed (and modeled) for all of PWH's Blue Wrap runway shows since 2010, and have created a piece for this year's show as well.

Join me for a great cause and a really fun night!   Learn more and purchase tickets for either Thursday or Friday nights here: https://www.partnersforworldhealth.org/calendar-events. Thank you for your interest and support!
