"Half" July 17th
Come to my next online solo playback performance and explore the theme of “Half” together.
Yes, July 17th is the half moon. Yes, we are roughly half-way through the year. There is also the halving that feels dividing, like the state of our union… the way things fall apart when halves separate… be it in relationship or elsewhere. There is also the halving that increases the sense of abundance through sharing, be it food, successes, laughter… I invite you to explore these and many other associations of “half” together, as a whole!
Reflection Questions:
Have you ever done something half-way? What was the reason for changing course or stopping entirely?
Is your life’s glass half-empty or half-full? How so?
What does it mean for you to believe in something half-heartedly? Does an example come to mind?
Are you “half-in, half-out” in some matter or commitment in your life at present? What does that feel like?
When has half-way been ample, even more than enough?
When has half-way been equivalent to none at all?
What does halving something mean to you? What have you split or shared equally with another? How has that been for you?
