First Friday 3/6
The First Friday in March is coming round the corner at a breakneck pace!
I’ll be on stage with The Teller’s Garden like on most every First Friday—either conducting or performing—this time performing with an all star cast of talented humans who are highly skilled at listening and honoring true stories as they are spontaneously told by volunteers in our audience
.
We never know how an evening will unfold, only what community members tell us time and time again are the reasons they keep coming back to our shows:
Some of the words audience members use to describe why they return to our shows, month after month.
Come see for yourself at the next First Friday! These details don’t change:
WHERE: The Portland Media Center, 516 Congress St., Portland, Maine
WHEN: Every First Friday of the month. Doors open at 6:45pm, show begins at 7pm and runs until about 8:30pm with no intermission.
HOW MUCH: We suggest $15 general admission, $10 for seniors, payable in cash or Venmo at the door only.
Our theme for this coming show is “Missing”– what does this word evoke in you? A missing piece? A missing person? Missing something or someone? Missing out? Missing the boat? A near miss? Missing what’s no longer true? Missing the mark? Missing the bus? Not knowing what you’re missing? The joy of missing?
All stories are welcome. We hope you’ll join us… Don’t miss this one ;)
