What grows in the dark?

What grows in the dark?

At this time, the darkest time of the year, as we approach the longest night, I will be offering Solar Playback once again at The Neighborhood Church in Bath, Maine.

Sunday, December 14th at 10am

798 Washington St, Bath, ME 04530

Here I am outside of The Neighborhood Church in Bath before my first time sharing Playback there on June 1st of this year. Join us again December 14th for more “good news” Playback from the pulpit!

Join the “neighbors” at this welcoming United Church of Christ in Bath, Maine, for a friendly, inclusive worship service —featuring Solar Playback— followed by Christmas Tree decorating and coffee and treats. All are welcome!

What to expect:

  • Opening remarks and the lighting of the advent candle of Joy

  • Scripture reading

  • Singing

  • 30-40 minutes of Solar Playback on the theme “What grows in the dark?”

  • Closing

  • More singing, music (the service typically concludes around 11:15am)

Whether you are a religious person, a person of faith, or simply a spiritual being having a human experience, you are welcome to join in the service at The Neighborhood.

We hope to see you there!
