As Pastor Holly Reid will be returning from her sabbatical the theme “Return” feels appropriate to the day!
Return means to come or go back to a place or to give, send or put something back. What does this word conjure for you? What have you returned to in your life? What are you returning now? Are there things, places, or practices you return to again and again? What story or moment comes to mind?
In faith traditions, there are services and practices we return to again and again. Different groups have ritualized ways of processing life events. What has returning made possible for you?
Join me for Solar Playback at the Neighborhood and watch as these stories are told and then honored spontaneously using improvisation.
