Castine 10/4 & 10/5
You’re invited…
Join me and many others the first weekend of October in Castine, Maine, as we learn about long overlooked Wabanaki and Black history in this region. Register for this Walk for Historical and Ecological Recovery (WHERE) here, and learn more about all the events unfolding on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
In addition to my role as Volunteer Coordinator for WHERE this season, I am honored to be a part of the programming on Saturday afternoon at Emerson Hall, 67 Court Street, Castine, Maine in conjunction with Antonio Rocha’s performance of The Malaga Ship and Kate McMahon’s talk on Maine and the slave trade.
