Mindful Water Aerobics

Many of you know local Nia Blue Belt Teacher, Fae Spath, but did you know she now teaches Mindful Water Aerobics?

Fae says: “Chopsticks in hair updo to emphasize focus on the radius / ulna bones and elbow joints in class on this day : D”

Drawing from her experience as a Nia movement instructor, Fae now teaches with all the benefits of being in water!

Each class has a focus from the Nia Moving to Heal curriculum with the intention that through movement we find health.

Mindful Water Aerobics is a full-body, cardio workout designed to increase strength, flexibility and endurance. Set to inspiring music, choreography is influenced by the power of the martial arts, mindfulness of the healing arts, and the playfulness of the dance arts.

Participants are encouraged listen to your now body and personalize movement for a joyful workout.

Mondays at 9am at the Biddeford YMCA

Wednesdays at 10am at the Portland YMCA
