One week until the Maine Marathon!

“Oh, the places you’ll go!” It’s fun to look back on just some of the locations I've had the pleasure of training over this summer…

I am honored and awed by the show of support for my upcoming run! Thank you to all who have given any amount to the Portland Community Free Clinic: friends, family, and people who I don’t know but who know of the Clinic and support the mission of providing quality healthcare to all. I am truly astounded by the generosity all around. If you would like to give, or share the link to give with a friend, here it is:

Once you are on the page, scroll down until you see the Portland Community Free Clinic listed, then click “select” and follow the directions. Thank you!

The race on September 30th will be my fourth full marathon, and the second time I am running the Maine Marathon (first time was in 2006, my first marathon!).

I am looking forward to what looks to be a beautiful weather day and lovely course up to Yarmouth and back. If you are in town and have some free time, supporting the runners with a smile and a wave, a shout of encouragement, always means so much to THIS runner! I plan on wearing something festive and colorful so I should be easy to spot.

You can have my personal race updates texted or emailed right to you by clicking here and filling in your info.

Again, thank you for your interest and support. I could not do it without you. I know for certain I would not be in the shape I am without Nia: the spirit of Nia gently guides me toward optimal body balance, the harmony of stability and mobility, full range of motion, and stillness… listening always.
